A beautiful French chest in the style of Louis XVI. Emulating the stately simplicity of the Louis Seize period, this piece consists of three drawers with brass fixtures framed by fluted rounded corners that terminate in turned tapered legs. The cream marble top is accented by colors of gray, beige, and mauve which are directly reflected in the colors of the cameos on each drawer pull. The piece stands on four fluted wooden legs. Measures 31" tall x 31.5" wide x 17" deep, circa 1920.
