A palatial "Bureau Plat," a library or office desk was hand crafted in the Louis XIV manner and has stunning cast brass mounts with female figures at the corners. This French vintage 1950s "bombe" or convex shaped desk is faux painted and gracefully curved all around. The top has a beautiful red leather with a glass top.
