Bacchante Cameo - Peaches & Cream

An antique finely carved large shell cameo of a Belle Epoque lady personified as a "Bacchante" which is a female follower of the Grecian God Bacchus. She dons vines of grapes and grape leaves in her hair and a string of pearls around her neck. She is as lovely as the wearer of this fine cameo.
