A striking French 19th century Louis XVI burl Walnut buffet with ormolu and a cream and gray marble top. The two door two drawer buffet is raised by elegant stout circular fluted feet with fine foliate fitted mottled sabots. The curved sides also display a remarkable quarter veneered design showcasing the exceptional wood grain. Measures 39.5" tall x 48.5" wide 18" deep, c. 1920.
