Antique Victorian French Dome Top Wood and Leather Travel Trunk

This French travel trunk has a wooden carcass, and it is covered with black canvas oil cloth with oak and leather banding over the top.  A big leather strap keeps the trunk together and the initials M.G.P. is displayed of a previous owner of times gone by.  The trunk has carrying handles and front clasps the central one could be locked with a padlock if desired, inside the trunk is clean and in impeccable shape with a lift out shelf.   A truly one of a kind conversation piece.  Measures 26 in tall x 33 x 24, c. 1890.
