A vintage, Chippendale style slant top secretary desk by Maddox. The desk is made from hardwood with mahogany veneers and features a slant top which reveals a series of mail slots (2 hidden), and small drawers to the interior. The lower portion features four machine dovetailed, serpentine front drawers, each with brass bat wing drawer pulls. The desk stands on claw and ball feet. An attached tag to the back of the piece reads “Maddox Tables, Jamestown NY’.
