This antique porcelain pillow features a cat, and would help keep the spine aligned. The original wax seal is in the middle of the flower. These porcelain pillows were also used in opium dens in China from the 19th century onwards. The smokers claimed that the opium made the pillow feel as soft as a cloud and the warmth the opium brought would counteract the coolness of the porcelain.
